Officine Innesto has developed several syllabi introducing students to Physical Computing and Internet Of Things.

Many different recources are used in the courses, such as Arduino IDE and boards, Node-RED, Grove Ecosystem, Wio Terminal and many other tools.

We tailor and design educational experiences based on the needs of the institute or client.

What’s this all about?


The aim of these educational proposals is to bring students in the creation and design meaningful human-machine or human-to-human interactions, through the use of accessible and open-source tools belonging to the world of Design, Storytelling and Fast Prototyping.

We will take a journey through the way computers communicate with each other, and with us. We will get to know sensors, actuators, we will see API in action.

Navigate through the world of platforms of interactivity, automation, IoT.

Physical Representation for Online Behaviours

Represent a digital experience (such as a euphoric or dysphoric behavior born on social networks, a tweet, etc..) through physics (the change of a color in a light, the activation of an engine, turning off a device, playing a sound)

Physical Interfaces for Online Communications

Create a physical interface (a button, a screen, an NFC reader) capable of creating interactions and conversations on the digital plan
