The idea of this course is to enable students to take their first steps into the world of Tiny Machine Learning and Computer Vision. To do this we will use a small board (XIAO ESP32S3 Sense) to which we can attach sensors, actuators, but also integrate it into more complex systems (such as receiving notifications when an object is seen or a condition encountered.
TinyML is a field of study in Machine Learning and Embedded Systems that engages edge, often small, low-powered devices. This new approach allows us to create privacy-first, ubiquitous devices able to understand very specific sets of information. This groundbreaking innovation is changing many different areas sensor monitoring in the edge and fog computing field.
The main teaching tool for this course is Seeedstudio’s XIAO ESP32S3 Sense with a small HAT that allows the GROVE modules to interact

New ways to make Smart Devices
A Paradigm Shiftment

We will use a graphical tool that will allow us to tow our own models or use predetermined models: Sensecraft AI
