Officine Innesto Team works to graft Technology, Storytelling and Design for meaningful interactions among humans

Our company, Officine Innesto, was founded in 2012 as the Arduino Office in Italy until 2016, after this date the two entities are separated and Officine Innesto is merely an Arduino Distributor. We love Arduino but are not anymore related to Arduino Company.

Along the years, Davide Gomba has been one of the promoter of maker culture in Italy, actively managing the creation of the very first Italian Fablab in 2011 in OGR, and Fablab Torino in 2012, where the company had been until the COVID pandemic.

Content producer and early adopter, he’s been creating different experiences around tech and maker culture, such as Fablabforkids (STEAM, kids, science), Ruralhack (IoT, bottom-up tech agriculture), Home Automation (based on the experience of Casa Jasmina) and Industrial IoT with Seeedstudio.

He’s been teaching in different schools and masters such as Istituto Marangoni, ITS-ICT, ITS Bio Tecnologie, Mozilla/Open DoTT PhD Program, IAAD different variations of IoT, DIY, IoT Edge and Tiny Machine Learning.
